3D Stained Glass Church Pattern — Tower, Clock and Cross for Your Christmas Village
The centrepiece of a Christmas village, and the busiest pattern in the collection. A church with a tall tower, a cross on top, and a clock on the tower face counting down to Christmas — a small detail that is most of what makes the piece read as a church rather than as a building with a spire. The windows are filled with coloured glass in the finished version, and that is where the light does its work.
The church measures 7.5″ tall × 5.1″ wide × 3.15″ deep (190 × 130 × 80 mm) and is built from 66 pieces of glass. It is marked as an ordinary difficulty project rather than a beginner one, and the reason is the assembly: this is the tallest and deepest piece in the collection, so the walls need to stay square while you solder them.
Three extras make the job easier and are worth knowing about before you start. The clock face and window decorations ship as separate decal files, so you are not trying to cut tiny numbers or leaded window patterns out of glass. The SVG format cuts the decals on a Cricut if you have one, which turns the fiddliest part of the build into a ten-minute job. And the roof is open on top, so an LED strip goes inside and the tower glows from within.

This church is incredible! I’m thinking I need to leave it up all year!
