3D Christmas Village Complete Set of 5 Patterns
The 3D Christmas Village complete set of 5 gives you the whole village in one download: a snowman house, a church, a village house, an old barn and an incense house. All five are full-size printable PDFs with a commercial licence, and each building stands on its own when it is finished.

Three of the five patterns carry a printed piece count. The church is the tallest building in the group, the barn the widest and lowest, and the incense house the smallest of them all, small enough to work as a holder on its own.

Why a set and not one house
One 3D building reads as a decoration. Five of them read as a village: different roof heights, different colours, a tower that stands above the rest and a barn that sits lower than the houses. Line them up on a windowsill and the group does something no single piece can do on its own.
Building them one after another also makes the set easier than it looks. The first house teaches the corners, the roof line and the way walls meet; the rest repeat the same steps, so each next building takes less attention than the one before it.
Choosing glass and light
Opalescent glass in the walls keeps a building readable in daylight, because it scatters light instead of showing the room behind it. Cathedral glass in the windows and doors lets the colour through, and that is what makes the village glow when a light is placed behind it. Warm white suits the scene better than a cool LED; a short string of fairy lights along the back of a shelf is enough for all five.
Keep the light outside the glass. There is no flame inside any of these buildings, and in daylight they still throw soft coloured shadows on the wall behind them.
Skill level and tools
Copper foil, solder, a glass cutter and the patience to hold a 90 degree corner while it sets. No kiln, no special saw. If you have made a flat suncatcher, most of the skills are already in your hands; the 3D part is assembly, and the guide that comes with the snowman house pattern walks through it.
Printing and scaling
Print at 100 percent for the sizes in the table. Need a different scale for your shelf or your glass? Use our free stained glass pattern resizer: the same drawing reprints at any percentage and every part keeps its proportion.
Licence
Personal and commercial use are included for all five patterns: the 3D Christmas Village complete set of 5 can be built and sold, shown at fairs and markets, and photos of your build can be published. Reselling or sharing the pattern files is not allowed.
The five patterns in the set
Every pattern can also be bought on its own — the set simply costs less than the five together. Here they are, one by one:

Only need three of them?
The smaller set covers the snowman house, the church and the second house, and it is the cheaper way to start a village.
