3D Stained Glass Christmas Village Pattern

Craft a glowing 3D stained glass Christmas village with houses, churches, a barn and a windmill. Each piece is built in three dimensions and lit from inside with LED lights, so the windows glow after dark. You cut the glass, foil and solder as usual, then join the flat panels into walls and a roof that stand on their own.

What you can build

The village grows one building at a time. Start with the Snowman House 1 — the most popular piece in the collection — then add the Church 1 and House 2 to form a street. The Old Barn and the 3D Windmill fill the edges of the scene.

Houses — Snowman House 1, House 2, and an incense holder house.
Churches — Church 1, plus an Easy Church for beginners.
Village extras — a barn, a windmill and a candy shop.

Santa’s transport

A village standing still is a display. Add Santa’s transport and it becomes a scene: the sleigh and reindeer that land on the roof, the 3D Christmas train with locomotive and wagons that runs past the houses, and the vintage truck bringing the tree in. If you want a moving piece on the mantel without a long build, the easy double sleigh uses two simple sledge designs and pairs with any house you already made.

Which piece to start with

If this is your first 3D project, begin with the Easy 3D Church for Beginners. Once the walls line up and the roof sits flat, the houses go together quickly.

Lighting the village

Every piece is hollow, so a small LED light fits inside. Warm white gives the classic window glow, while a coloured light inside the church makes the glass read differently at night. The buildings work as a set on a mantel or windowsill, and each one also stands alone as a night light.
