Stained Glass Christmas Pattern Set: Sleigh with Reindeer and a Snowman House
This stained glass Christmas pattern set is two 3D patterns in one download: a red sleigh pulled by a reindeer, and a snowman house with its supporting Christmas trees. The pair comes to 83 pieces of glass, both drawings print at full size, and both finished pieces stand on their own. Files arrive the moment you pay — the whole set costs $23.25 and nothing ships.
What Is Inside the Stained Glass Christmas Pattern Set
Five downloads arrive with the order:
- Snowman House 1 — full-size printable PDF;
- Snowman House 1 — ZIP archive with all of its build files;
- Sleigh & Reindeer — full-size printable PDF;
- two links to the original cloud folders, one per pattern, so you can pull every source file we have for both.
These are the drawings the studio pieces were built from, not a redraw. The set costs 17% less than the two patterns bought separately.
Sizes and Glass Count
- Sleigh & Reindeer: 2.72″ (69 mm) tall, 4.93″ (125 mm) wide, 9 pieces of glass.
- Snowman House 1: 3.94″ (100 mm) tall, 74 pieces of glass.
- The set together: 83 pieces of glass.
Both are copper foil builds: you need glass, copper foil, solder, a soldering iron and patina. No kiln, no lead came. The house is the bigger evening’s work; the sleigh and deer go together quickly and set the scene in front of it.
Printing the Patterns at the Right Size
Print each PDF at 100% on US Letter or A4 and switch off “fit to page” — a scaled print means the pieces will not meet at the seams. If you want the pair in another size, run the page through our free resizer first.

Assembling Both 3D Pieces
Both projects are three-dimensional, so both need assembly, and both come with help. The snowman house has a compact step-by-step guide on the site. For the sleigh and reindeer, every step is photographed on our Facebook page under the hashtag #christmassleigh211114.
One honest note before you buy: the fairy lights and the small snowman figures in our photos are props for the photo shoot. The download is the pattern — the glass, foil and solder are yours.
Who This Stained Glass Christmas Pattern Set Is For
The set suits makers who already know copper foil and want a display rather than a single suncatcher: a holiday table, a shop window, a studio shelf, or a gift to someone who builds glass. Both patterns are small enough for two people to work side by side, which makes them a good first project to share. At a craft fair, the pair sells as a scene — the sleigh in front, the house lit behind it.
Display and Lighting
The pair works best with one source of warm light behind it. A battery LED tealight inside the snowman house and a short string of fairy lights under the sleigh are enough to make the glass glow in the evening, and in daylight the two pieces throw soft coloured shadows on the shelf. Keep them on a flat surface away from a dripping window: the sleigh and the house stand on their own, but water sitting on the seams slowly clouds the foil.
License and Delivery
Commercial license: you may sell the pieces you build from these patterns. The files themselves stay with you — no reselling, no sharing, no uploading them to another shop. Download links appear on the order confirmation page and in your account right after payment, and the same links are emailed to you.
Or Build Just One of Them
Each pattern is also sold on its own, if you only want half of the set:
