3D Christmas Village Set of 3 Patterns for Stained Glass
The 3D Christmas Village set of 3 gives you a snowman house, a village church and a second house in one download. Each pattern is a full-size printable PDF with a commercial licence. You cut the glass flat, foil and solder it, and every building stands on its own when it is finished.
What is inside the 3D Christmas Village set of 3
| Snowman House 1 | h 3.94 in (100 mm) | 74 pieces |
| Village Church | h 7.5 x w 5.1 x d 3.15 in (190 x 130 x 80 mm) | no printed count |
| Village House 2 | h 5.12 x w 3.94 x d 3.94 in (130 x 100 x 100 mm) | no printed count |
The snowman house is the most detailed of the three: 74 pieces and roughly 331 inches of foil. The church is the tallest building in the set, which is why it reads as the centre of a display. The second house sits lower and fills the space between the other two.

How the three pieces work together
A 3D pattern is not a flat panel with a picture on it. Every wall is cut as a separate flat piece, and the building appears only when the walls meet at the corners and the roof goes on. That is why the sizes above are given as height, width and depth: the finished village takes up real space on a shelf, and light passes through every wall instead of one front panel.
All three buildings use the same corner and roof logic, so the second and third go faster than the first. Built from one glass palette, they look like a village rather than three unrelated houses, and the church tower gives the group a silhouette that a row of equal roofs never has.
Choosing glass and light
Two kinds of glass do most of the work here. Opalescent glass for the walls keeps the structure readable in daylight, because it scatters light instead of showing the room behind it. Cathedral glass in the windows and the door does the opposite: it lets the colour through, so the building glows once a light is placed near it.
A warm LED tealight or a short string of fairy lights is enough. Keep the light outside the glass, never a flame inside a paper pattern guide, and the piece stays safe on a shelf for years. In daylight the same buildings throw soft coloured shadows on the wall behind them.
Skill level and tools
Copper foil, solder, a glass cutter and the patience to hold a corner square while the solder sets. No kiln and no saw. If you have made a flat suncatcher, you already have most of the skills; the new part is assembly, and the assembly guide that comes with the snowman house pattern covers it.
Printing and scaling
Print at 100 percent for the sizes in the table above. If your shelf or your glass calls for another size, scale the PDF yourself in our free stained glass pattern resizer: it reprints the same drawing at any percentage and keeps every part in proportion, so the walls still meet.
Licence
Personal and commercial use are both included: the 3D Christmas Village set of 3 can be built and sold, at fairs, in a shop or online, and photos of your work can be published. Reselling or sharing the pattern files themselves is not allowed.
