Boss Snowman Stained Glass Suncatcher: Santa’s Chair, 46 Pieces

Boss Snowman Stained Glass Suncatcher: Santa’s Chair in Glass

This is the Boss Snowman stained glass suncatcher – the drawing cut in real glass, soldered by hand in the studio – 24 years of stained glass practice – and finished in dark patina. 46 pieces, 10.00 x 8.58 inches (255 x 218 mm), 520 g (18.3 oz) packed, hanging chain included. The price is $145.00 with all taxes and fees inside; delivery is charged separately by packed weight. One piece is in stock right now, and another can be made in 3-4 business days.

What you get

• The finished Boss Snowman stained glass suncatcher: 46 pieces of art glass, copper foil, solder, dark patina.
• A hanging chain, already attached. There is no hook in the box – use a cup hook, a nail or a window hook you already have.
• The face, the carrot nose, the scarf stripes and the BOSS lettering are drawn in stained glass contour paint, not printed on film.
• The carrot nose is a tin detail painted red and fixed to the glass.

Size, weight and materials

The size is the size of the drawing it was built from, so it matches the pattern exactly.

How it looks in a window

The Boss Snowman stained glass suncatcher is real glass with a dark patina: the seams read as a clean black line, and the colours change through the day as the light moves. In direct sun the piece throws coloured shadows on the wall or the table under it. Nothing about it needs electricity, batteries or a stand – one hook and a window are enough.

Indoors or outdoors

It hangs indoors anywhere you like, and outdoors too. One honest caveat: the nose and the contour lines are painted, and I cannot promise how that paint behaves in aggressive weather – months of strong sun, salt air or hard frost. Under a porch roof, on a covered terrace or in a window it is safe. In the open, expect the paint to age.

In stock or made to order

One Boss Snowman stained glass suncatcher is finished and ready to ship. If it has already gone, I make the next one in 3-4 business days – the same drawing and the same materials. Glass is a natural material: the grain and the exact shade of each sheet can differ a little, so your piece will not be a photographic copy of the photo, and no two are identical.

Shipping and what the total will be

The price of $145.00 already includes every tax and fee – nothing is added at checkout except delivery, and you choose how the piece travels. Two options, same parcel, different risk:

• Small packet (no compensation) – $46.79
• Parcel (track RR…BY, with insurance) – $57.21

Both parcels travel with a tracking number you can follow from my studio to your door. Small packet is the cheaper way: there is no compensation if the postal service loses the parcel, and that risk is yours. Parcel is additionally insured, so a lost parcel is paid for by the carrier. Both options are available for the two countries we ship to, the USA and Canada, and the exact cost appears in the cart before you pay.

Returns

You have 10 days from delivery to send it back. The piece has to come back in the condition it arrived in, in protective packaging, and the return shipping is paid by the buyer.

Prefer to cut it yourself?

The drawing is sold on its own as a full-size PDF, SVG and PNG set – same 46 pieces, same proportions: you cut the glass, you keep the suncatcher and the whole process. The build is published step by step on AAGlassStudio on Facebook.
