Stained Glass Baby Pattern — Sleeping Child, PDF and SVG for a Nursery
A sleeping child, drawn as a round piece: the shape works because a circle reads as a keepsake rather than as decoration. It suits a nursery wall, a small window, or a gift for a new parent — and unlike most Christmas and Halloween patterns, it is not tied to a season. Download it instantly and trace it from the printed sheet, or take the vector file to a plotter or laser cutter.
The finished panel measures 7.09″ × 7.09″ (180 × 180 mm) and is built from 25 pieces of glass. At 25 pieces in a round outline this is an approachable project for a beginner who has cut a few simple shapes. The pattern is marked as a simple difficulty design; the curved perimeter is the work, not the interior. Plan an evening or two.

Where it works
A nursery wall, a cot-side window, or a bedroom door. The round format takes a backing board neatly and will hang on a single nail or a suction hook. Keep it clear of a window that gets direct summer sun if you are using pale glass, and consider a backing board if it is going into a room with strong light, so the piece reads from across the space.
Who buys this pattern
New parents looking for something they will still have in twenty years; hobbyists who make gifts for friends and relatives; beginners drawn to the 25-piece count; and makers who sell personalised pieces and can add a name or a date on the glass before soldering.
Licence
A personal and commercial licence is included. Make it for yourself, make it as gifts, or cut and sell the finished piece — no per-sale fees and no obligation to report. Adding a name or date to a finished piece is within the licence.
Printing and finishing
Print the PDF at 100% scale on US Letter or A4 and check a measurement before cutting — never use “fit to page”, or the circle will print undersized and every dimension on the drawing will be wrong. If you want a different size, the free stained glass pattern resizer will scale it. If you intend to personalise the piece, mark the name on the glass with a glass pen before soldering rather than on the paper template.
A note before you start
You are buying the pattern only — glass, came, solder, a backing board, and any finished piece are not included. The photographs show the design completed by other makers using their own materials.
