Serene Snowy House in Globe — Christmas Stained Glass Pattern, PDF and SVG
A cabin alone in the snow, with one evergreen beside it, the whole scene framed inside a glass globe. The globe shape is what separates this design from the many other winter scenes in the collection: the round frame turns a simple two-element drawing into a finished object, and it reads well from any angle rather than needing to be viewed square on. Download it instantly and trace it from the printed sheet, or take the vector file to a plotter or laser cutter.
The finished panel measures 9.06″ tall × 7.68″ wide (230 × 195 mm) and is built from 22 pieces of glass. At 22 pieces this is one of the more approachable designs in the collection — the interior is quick, and the pattern is marked as a simple difficulty design. Plan for roughly 205 inches (5.2 metres) of foil on the lead lines, which is worth knowing before you start because foil is usually what limits how large a piece you take on.

Where it works
A window, a porch, or hung on a wall as a decoration with a backing board. The round frame suits a circular or oval window better than a square one, and it hangs well from a single nail or a suction hook. Backlighting is what makes this piece work: the pale snow and the cabin carry the scene, and in a dim room the whole thing flattens out. If you are hanging it on a wall rather than in a window, mount it on a backing board so the globe reads cleanly.
Who buys this pattern
Beginners looking for a first piece with a genuinely friendly piece count; hobbyists who want a calm winter scene rather than a Christmas character; anyone who wants a decoration that works into January; and makers who sell small finished panels at craft fairs, where a landscape usually sells better than a figure.
Licence
A personal and commercial licence is included. Make it for yourself, make it as gifts, or cut and sell the finished piece — no per-sale fees and no obligation to report.
Printing and finishing
Print the PDF at 100% scale on US Letter or A4 and check a measurement before cutting — never use “fit to page”, or the globe will print undersized and the circle will not close properly. If you want a different size, the free stained glass pattern resizer will scale the drawing. With 22 pieces the interior is straightforward; the curved globe edge is where the work goes, so grind it in several gradual passes rather than trying to smooth the whole curve at once.
A note before you start
You are buying the pattern only — glass, came, solder, any backing board, and any finished piece are not included. The photographs show the design completed by other makers using their own materials.
