Stained Glass Snowman Pattern with Umbrella — Printable PDF and SVG
This stained glass snowman is not the usual carrot-and-bucket version: he wears headphones and a tie, and holds a multicoloured umbrella over his shoulder. The detail is light rather than fussy — enough to give him a personality, not so much that the pattern becomes difficult. It works as a window piece, a tree ornament, or a small hanging, and the umbrella supplies most of the colour in the design. Download it instantly and trace it from the printed sheet, or cut the vector file on a plotter or laser cutter.
The finished piece measures 5.28″ tall × 4.45″ wide (134 × 113 mm) and is built from 23 pieces of glass. The pattern is marked as an ordinary difficulty design with an intricate outline: the piece count is friendly, the perimeter is the work. It is a good first stained glass project if you have cut a few simple shapes before.

Where it works
A window, a porch rail, or a smaller hanging where the umbrella reads clearly at about 5 inches. The umbrella is the strongest feature in the drawing, so give the piece a spot where people will see it from a few steps back rather than right beside it. Because nothing about the design is specifically December apart from the snowman himself, it also works as an ordinary winter ornament.
Who buys this pattern
Hobbyists building a winter or Christmas collection; beginners looking for a project that looks designed rather than beginner-made; plotter and laser cutter owners; and makers who sell small finished ornaments at craft fairs or as holiday gifts.
Licence
A personal and commercial licence is included. Make it for yourself, make it as gifts, or cut and sell the finished piece — no per-sale fees and no reporting back.
Printing and finishing
Print the PDF at 100% scale on US Letter or A4 and check a measurement before cutting — do not use “fit to page”. Trace onto your chosen glass colours, or work from the PNG on a screen. With 23 pieces the interior cuts go quickly; grind the umbrella edge carefully since the narrow segments there are the first thing to crack. A small hanger on the back turns it into a tree ornament.
A note before you start
You are buying the pattern only — glass, came, solder, hanging hardware, and any finished piece are not included. The photographs show the design completed by other makers using their own materials.
