Stained Glass Garden Stakes
In this short article, I will tell you how to quickly and easily make a garden stakes for your suncatcher.

Ideally, you would use a drill, but it’s possible to manage without one—just know that it will take more time and effort.
Find some wire pieces and remove the insulation using a utility knife. Be sure to follow safety procedures.
Determine the final length of the wire coil you need and add an extra inch on each side for clamping and trimming.
Gather the cleaned wire pieces to the desired length plus the extra. Twist the ends together by hand or with pliers to prevent them from unraveling.
Now, secure one end of the wire bundle and twist the other end to create a tight spiral.
In the video, this is done using pliers (to secure the end) and a drill to rotate the other end.
In just 10-15 seconds, you’ll have a beautifully shaped and rigid wire coil. All that’s left is to solder it and apply patina.
