Instructions on how to work with a multi-page PDF file.
Hello, dear friends!
Today, we decided to tell you how to work with a multi-page PDF file, as we often ask why our patterns are on several sheets.
First of all, I would like to show you what it looks like.
After you have downloaded and unpacked the archive with the pattern, you get four files (article what you get when you buy):
- Scalable SVG
- Color JPEG (article how to resize)
- Black and white JPEG
- And multi-page PDF
For example, we took our Mountains pattern to show you how to work with a multi-page PDF. After printing it out, we get three sheets with our pattern.
We will need:
- pencil,
- ruler,
- cutting mat,
- stationery knife,
- glue and/or adhesive tape.
If there is no knife, ordinary scissors will do.
Please take a close look at our sheets. Please pay attention to the labels that we specifically leave in our multi-page PDF files to be convenient for you to work with them afterward. Connect them with a ruler and pencil – now we have a line along which will be suitable to cut off an extra piece of paper.
Now we cut off the excess paper along this line. You can do it with scissors or a stationery knife, like us. See how it will be more convenient for you.
Notice on the second sheet. I left the edge untouched! This is necessary for more convenient bonding.
After performing these manipulations with all the necessary pages, I proceed to the next stage – gluing.
We will need a page from which we have not cut off the excess paper. We smear this side with glue and carefully attach the second one to it to match the drawings. So we got the whole image! Now, if desired, you can glue the wrong side with adhesive tape to fasten the sheets together.
Done! We have received a pattern that is easy and convenient to work with.
It is very convenient to cut out details and make your beautiful suncatcher!
